International conference kicks off in Samarkand

In Samarkand, an international conference titled “Preservation of tangible and intangible heritage: current problems and a strategy for solving them” is being held under the auspices of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and UNESCO.

As Kun.uz correspondent reports, many foreign guests, ministers, other officials and heads of organizations participate in the event.

Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov read the greetings of President Shavkat Mirziyoev to the conference participants.

Then UNESCO Director General Audrey Azoulay delivered a speech.

The conference continues its work in sections.
