State Testing Center uploads photos of “dummy applicants” to the network

The use of modern methods and technologies at the entrance to buildings, where the tests were carried out, helped to identify people, who replaced real applicants, the press service of the State Testing Center (STC) reports.

It is noted that the tests were conducted from July 29 to August 15 transparently and fairly.

In previous years, replacing real applicants with other persons was not difficult. It was enough if the pseudo-applicant was photographed instead of the real one during the submission of documents. This year, the STC took passport data and photographs of applicants from the system of the main department for migration and registration of citizenship of the Interior Ministry during their registration. At the entrance to the building, where the testing was carried out, an identity of each applicant was determined using video recording. In cases of low compliance of photos with the video recording system, fingerprints of suspected persons were verified with these applicants. Such a verification system helped to identify the so-called “dummy applicants”, the report says.

The STC forwarded all the information on offenders to law enforcement bodies for taking measures in accordance with the law and uploaded photographs of some “dummy applicants” to the network.
