Uzbekistan delegation to visit US, attend a high-level event where Donald Trump delivers a speech
Delegation of Uzbekistan headed by Foreign Minister Abdulaziz Kamilov will visit the United States of America on September 21-29, 2019, to attend the 74th session of the UN General Assembly, the press service of the MFA reports.
Within the course of his visit, Kamilov will participate at the Global Call to Protect Religious Freedom event, where President Donald J. Trump will provide keynote remarks.
Also, attending the UN Climate Action Summit, the ministerial meetings in the “Central Asia - USA” (“C5 + 1”) format and the Conference on Interaction and Confidence-Building Measures in Asia (CICA) are planned.
According to the MFA, Abdulaziz Kamilov will hold a series of bilateral meetings in New York with leaders of foreign delegations.
The program of the visit also provides for negotiations with US officials in Washington to discuss issues on the Uzbek-American agenda.
