Uzbekistan plans to allocate more than $692.7 million for maintenance of government bodies in 2020

The Finance Ministry of Uzbekistan has submitted a draft state budget for 2020.

In the draft document, approximate expenses for the maintenance of public authorities, administration, justice, prosecutors, courts and self-government bodies of citizens, as well as NGOs and other civil society institutions were published. 

In general, to maintain the above structures in 2020, the state intends to spend 6,580.8 billion soums or $692.7 million (at the rate of commercial banks, $1 - 9,500 soums).

Of this amount, 678.3 billion soums, or $71.4 million, will be allocated for the maintenance of prosecution and justice bodies. If you pay attention to the figures, then in 2020, compared with 2019, the cost of maintaining prosecutors and justice workers will increase by 110 billion soums or $11.5 million.

In 2020, the maintenance of judges to the state budget will cost about 391.4 billion soums or $41.2 million. Compared with 2019, expenses for courts will increase by 63.5 billion soums or $6.6 million.

Also in 2020, they plan to allocate 392.7 billion soums or $41.3 million for the activities of central government bodies. Compared to 2019, the expense will increase by 218.1 billion soums or $22.9 million.

In addition, in 2020, maintenance of the government bodies will cost the budget about 4.2 trillion soums or $447.1 million. In 2019, about 3.6 trillion soums were spent on them. In 2020, they plan to allocate 602.4 billion soums or $63.4 million more than in 2019.
