Head of department for state language development appointed 

By a government decree, Abdugappor Kirgizbayev has been appointed head of the department for development of the state language.

Abdugappor Kirgizbayev was born on August 10, 1962 in the Namangan region. In 1985, he graduated from Tashkent State Pedagogical Institute. He is a deputy of the Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis, as well as a member of the committee on science, education, culture and sports.

It should be recalled that the department was established by the presidential decree of October 21, 2019. Development of the state language, monitoring compliance with the legislation on the state language, introduction of effective forms of public control in this area are considered the department’s main tasks.
