PM, his deputies and ministers to report to Parliament every six months
At a meeting of the Legislative Chamber on June 11, deputies considered and adopted in the second reading the draft Constitutional Law “On the Cabinet of Ministers”.
Based on the new Constitution, the powers of the government in the areas of economics, budget, finance, taxation, ecology and environmental protection are being revised.

This bill introduces a number of innovations on the status of the Cabinet of Ministers, its composition and procedure for formation, powers, and organization of activities of the Cabinet of Ministers.
In particular, the Prime Minister, together with his deputies and ministers, will submit a report to the Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis every six months. Based on the new version of the Constitution, the powers of the government in the areas of economics, budget, finance, taxation, ecology and environmental protection have been revised.
Article 4 of this bill establishes the status of each of the executive authorities of the republic (ministries, committees, agencies, inspections), defines territorial divisions, a clear and uniform procedure for their creation and termination, as well as delimitation criteria.
