A criminal case has been instituted against the former commander of the Guard Troops of the Interior Ministry, Major General Dmitry Pan.
Reportedly, on November 19, the military prosecutor’s office of Uzbekistan opened a criminal case against the former commander of the Guard Troops, Major General Dmitry Pan under Article 301 (abuse of power) of the Criminal Code.
“On November 23, 2019, Dmitry Pan was brought to trial under Part 1 of Article 301 of the Criminal Code. The Tashkent military court detained him as a preventive measure,” the press service of the Prosecutor General’s Office said.
Investigative actions are underway.
It should be recalled that on November 22, Major General Dmitry Pan was fired by the President of Uzbekistan.
