Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs for the maintenance of public order, Colonel Muhiddin Jurayev resigned, a Kun.uz source reported.
It should be recalled that Muhiddin Jurayev was appointed Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs for the maintenance of public order in December 2018. In 2014-2016, he headed the Mirzo-Ulugbek district department of Internal Affairs. In 2016-2018, he worked as the head of the Syrdarya regional police department.
Along with the Deputy Minister, Commander of the guard troops at the Interior Ministry, Major General Dmitry Pan has also been dismissed.
The source said that several senior officials at the Ministry of Internal Affairs have been fired in accordance with the presidential decree.
