Nagoya High-Tech Park to be created in Tashkent

As part of his visit to Nagoya, the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev met with the Mayor of the city Takashi Kawamura, the press service of the head of state reported.

Issues of practical implementation of the agreements reached following the visit by delegation of the city mayor’s office to Uzbekistan were discussed.

The parties considered creating a High-Tech Park in Tashkent, innovative projects in the field of economics, industry, transport, education, tourism and other priority areas were also discussed.

An agreement was reached on the preparation of a “roadmap” for joint activities in 2020.

At the end of the meeting, a Partnership Agreement was signed between the khokimiyat of Tashkent and the Nagoya Mayor’s Office.
