Uzbekistan increases gold exports

In January-November 2019, Uzbekistan increased gold exports by 2.8 times compared to the same period in 2018. This is evidenced by the data of the State Statistics Committee.
In January-November 2019, Uzbekistan exported gold worth $4.4 billion.
At the same time, the share of gold in total exports amounted to 27.3%.
It should be noted that Uzbekistan has increased gold exports in recent years.
The dynamics of gold exports are as follows:
- $823.9 million in 2015;
- $738.2 million in 2016;
- $1.6 billion in 2017;
- $2.91 billion in 2018.
