President of Uzbekistan signed the decree on measures for implementation of the law “On the State Budget of the Republic of Uzbekistan for 2020”.
In accordance with the document, pensions for families with children under 14 years of age, childcare benefits up to the age of 2, material support for low-income families, and lump sum payment for needy families in the Republic of Karakalpakstan and Khorezm region have been determined.
In particular, the following amounts have been established:
1. Pension for families with children under 14 years of age:
- to families with one child – 131,000 soums;
- to families with two children – 217,000 soums;
- to families with three or more children – 304,000 soums.
2. Childcare benefits up to the age of 2 – 434,000 soums;
3. Material support for low-income families – from 326,000 to 653,000 soums;
4. Lump sum payment for needy families in the Republic of Karakalpakstan and Khorezm region – from 434,000 to 1,085,000 soums.
