In accordance with paragraph 1 of the presidential decree PQ-4484 of October 8, 2019, sugar produced by local enterprises is sold on the domestic market only through exchange trades, providing equal access to all types of buyers in the stock market.
According to the press service of the Antimonopoly Committee, in remote and inaccessible areas of the Republic, sugar, except for more than 10% of the total production volume, is sold to consumers directly through their own sales network on a contractual basis.
It is reported that the sale of limited amount of sugar (up to 12.5 - 13.5% of the volume of production), which was produced by 2020, was realized through open exchange trades, and the rest was sold through direct dealer networks.
Last year, Angren shakar LLC sold 28,800 tons of sugar at exchange trades, but only in January 2020, it is planned to put 20,000 tons of sugar up on the stock exchange.
Xorazm shakar LLC sold 27,400 tons of sugar in 2019 and 18,000 tons of sugar is planned to be sold in January this year.
