Requirements for serving in the National Guard units established

An order “On approval of the Regulation on the procedure for selecting candidates for military service under a contract in units of the National Guard of the Republic of Uzbekistan” passed state registration at the Ministry of Justice.

In accordance with the order, the Regulation has been approved in a new edition.

The Regulation, in particular, stipulates requirements for candidates for military service under a contract in units of the National Guard, as well as the procedure and stages for conducting recruitment for military service.

According to the Regulation, the following citizens with secondary, secondary specialized or higher education may become candidates:

- persons from 18 years to 30 years of age;

- persons under the age of 40, who have previously performed military service under a contract;

- reserve officers under the age of 40 years.
