Girl, 17, hit by train in Andijan region
In Andijan region, a freight train hit a teenage girl, who is in a critical condition now, the press service of Uzbekistan Railways reports.
The incident occurred on February 11 at 09:57 on the Paygut-Kuyganyar rail line. The freight train was moving along the Andijan-Kokand route. The victim, born in 2003, was hospitalized.
Currently, the investigating bodies are examining the causes of the incident.
Uzbekistan Railways recalled that the railway is a place with high level of danger. Being on railroads, one needs to be especially careful to follow all safety requirements and rules.
