LLC head in Gulistan steals electricity using a special remote control that turns off electric meter

On February 28, BCE officers conducted an operation at the car wash Kamronbek Khojabek Nur LLC, located on Xalqlar Do’stligi Street in the city of Gulistan.

In the course of inspection of energy use, it was revealed that the electricity connected to the power grid was illegally “regulated” by installing a chip device in the meter, making it possible to control it remotely.

According to the enforcement bureau of the Syrdarya region, during the inquiry it was revealed that the head of Kamronbek Khojabek Nur LLC caused the supply company a damage in the amount of 23 million 74 thousand 605 soums.

The head of the LLC said that he regrets the deed, admitting that the electricity meter was secretly controlled by him on purpose.

“At the moment, the damage, revealed in the course of investigation conducted by inquiry department of enforcement bureau, has been fully compensated, and a criminal case has been instituted against the “inventor” of the device,” the department said.
