Three employees of “Sirdaryo suv ta’minoti” JSC fell into a pipeline that drains wastewater outside the city. According to a Kun.uz source, the incident occurred around noon today, June 27, 2024.

Emergency responders rescued two workers from the sewer and took them to the hospital's intensive care unit. The condition of the workers is reported to be very serious. Another worker died, his body is now being sought.

The head of the press service of “Uzsuvtaminot” JSC, Akmal Murodov, said that three employees of “Sirdarya suv ta’minoti” JSC were poisoned, one of them died.

It is reported that at 10:00, the regional emergency department received an urgent call from the 5th sewerage pumping station located in the city of Gulistan. It was reported that three employees were diagnosed with unknown poisoning and their condition was deteriorating.

One of the employees, citizen Kh.I. died. Two other employees of Z.B. and Kh.A. were taken to the intensive care unit of a regional hospital. Doctors report that their condition is extremely serious.

“Studies are being carried out by the relevant departments. Additional information will be provided based on the results,” the statement said.
