Uzbekistan closes its borders, suspends all international flights
Starting from March 16, Uzbekistan will suspend all international flights and road transportation.
Starting from March 16, Uzbekistan will suspend flights and road transportation to all countries of the world. This was announced by the Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov at a briefing in Tashkent.
At the same time, railway transportation is permitted for three days. This issue will be reviewed very shortly.
According to Kun.uz correspondent, now Uzbek citizens are prohibited from traveling abroad, and foreigners are not allowed to enter Uzbekistan. Charter flights can be arranged for returning Uzbeks, who remain abroad, and all those who have arrived from abroad will be quarantined.
Public transport, bus and train stops are disinfected every 4 hours.
