Police department warned citizens of criminal liability for forging stickers to operate cars
Based on the requirements of the Special Republican Commission, in the cities of Tashkent, Nukus and regional centers, a special permit for the movement of vehicles is issued at the State Services Centers (SSCs).
Applications for obtaining a special permit are studied at the SSCs, after which a decision is made on the issuance or refusal to issue a permit, about which the applicant is notified through information and communication technologies.
As of April 1, 41,639 appeals were submitted to the State Services Centers in the city of Tashkent. Of these, in 6,740 cases, a special permit was issued, in 15,509 cases the issuance of permits was refused, 19,461 applications are being considered.
As the Department of Internal Affairs notes, the special permit is an official document that gives the right to move on a motor vehicle during the quarantine. Documents attached to obtain permission must be genuine and the data contained in them should be valid.
At present, the documents attached to obtaining permission are being studied by the internal affairs bodies and other responsible organizations. Facts of falsification of documents and invalid data are being revealed.
“According to the Criminal Code, a fake special permit entitling to operate vehicles during the quarantine or the accompanying documents, as well as their use or sale, shall entail criminal responsibility. If documents submitted by you for obtaining a special permit are fake, or invalid data are specified in them, we ask you to immediately pick up the documents and notify us. If you received a special permit using fake documents, please return the permit to the SSC,” the police department noted.
Individuals, who voluntarily return permits and admit that the documents are fake or the information in them is false, may be exempted from criminal liability.
