Coronavirus cases reach 1,380 in Uzbekistan
The Ministry of Health reported that another 31 people in Uzbekistan have been diagnosed with the coronavirus infection.
“As of 10:00 a.m. on April 17, 2020, the number of registered coronavirus infection cases in Uzbekistan is 1,380 people,” the ministry said.
The first case of coronavirus infection in Uzbekistan was detected on March 15. In April, the number of cases began to rise sharply. On April 11-12, 98 new cases were confirmed, on April 13 – 133. On April 14, a record daily increase in the number of patients was registered – 167 and on April 15, the number of recorded new cases dropped to 137.
On April 16, the growth rate slowed to 47 people.
So far, 129 people have recovered from the disease and 4 people died.
