On May 1, EDC obtained an inflow of hydrocarbons in the course of drilling Shimoliy Beshkent-1 well. This indicates the discovery of a new field with estimated reserves of 4 bcm of natural gas and 300,000 t of oil.
All operations are in full compliance with sanitation and epidemiological requirements and environmental standards.
EDC specialists continue well survey and data analysis aimed at field’s geological structure refinement and hydrocarbon reserves update. Efforts will continue to increase production at this new field using advanced technologies.
The extracted hydrocarbons will be routed to the domestic market to cover the populations’ needs.
