A branch of Russian pedagogical university to be established in Tashkent

The draft presidential resolution “On the establishment of a branch of the Russian State Pedagogical University named after A. I. Herzen in Tashkent” has been published.

A proposal of the Ministry of Preschool Education, the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Herzen State Pedagogical University (Russian Federation) to establish a branch of the university in Tashkent will be approved.

The followings have been determined:
 
Educational activities of the branch will begin in the 2020/2021 academic year on the basis of directions and programs agreed with the Ministry of Preschool Education and the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education of Uzbekistan;

Admission of applicants and certification of graduates in the branch is carried out in accordance with the requirements and rules established by the University in coordination with the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education of Uzbekistan;

Graduates of the branch are awarded a diploma of the university in the prescribed form, which is recognized as a document of higher education in the Republic of Uzbekistan;

The activity of the branch is carried out in accordance with the legislation of Uzbekistan and the Russian Federation.
