According to the Ministry of Health, another 7 people have been diagnosed with the coronavirus infection in Uzbekistan.
“As of 10:00 a.m., May 15, the number of coronavirus infection cases in the country stands at 2,652 (+7),” the report said.
Of the confirmed 7 new cases, 3 were detected in citizens who arrived from abroad and were placed in quarantine, and 4 - in those who are undergoing treatment in quarantine institutions. Three citizens arrived from Tajikistan on May 9 and 13 and were quarantined.
So far, 2,136 people have completely recovered from the disease, 11 people died. Of the 505 patients currently undergoing treatment, 8 are in a serious condition.
