Uzbekistan to resume domestic tourism from June 1
In the “green” and “yellow” regions (areas where epidemic situation is satisfactory), domestic tourism will resume this summer.

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a decree “On urgent measures to support the tourism sector to reduce the negative impact of the coronavirus pandemic”.
According to the document, domestic tourism will be resumed in the “green” and “yellow” regions. In particular, the activities of tour operators, travel agencies, accommodation facilities, cultural objects, cultural heritage are resumed with strict observance of established sanitary and hygienic requirements.
Outbound tourism will be phased in, with the definition of a list of countries, whose citizens are allowed to enter Uzbekistan.
Earlier, it was reported that on May 27, Shavkat Mirziyoyev got acquainted with the presentation of projects in the field of tourism.
