Coronavirus cases top 4,400 in Uzbekistan
52 more people tested positive for coronavirus in Uzbekistan, bringing the total number of cases to 4,404, the Ministry of Health said in a statement.

“As of 17:00, June 8, the number of infection cases stands at 4,404 (+52),” the ministry’s statement reads.
It is noted that 29 new cases were detected in quarantine centers, 18 – in Tashkent, 3 – in the Namangan region, 1 – in the Tashkent region and 1 – in the Syrdarya region.
So far, 3,357 people have fully recovered from the disease, 17 people died.
Currently, 1,030 people are undergoing treatment at medical facilities.
