Man arrested in Syrdarya region for beating up ambulance workers

Law enforcement officers detained a man who beat two ambulance workers in the Sayhunabad district of the Syrdarya region, the Investigation Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported.
On June 3, at around 23:30, a citizen got injured in the Dustlik mahalla gathering.
After that, his 27-year-old friend called an ambulance, but during a call, he had an argument with a 27-year-old paramedic.
As the ambulance team – a 28-year-old doctor and the paramedic on duty – arrived at the scene, the man quarreled with them, and, during a fight, kicked and punched paramedic, as well as the doctor who tried to reconcile them.
As a result, both the doctor and the paramedic were taken to a medical institution with injuries.
The Internal Affairs Department of the Sayhunabad district opened criminal proceedings against the perpetrator in accordance with Article 277 of the Criminal Code, and he was detained and charged. The preliminary investigation is ongoing.
