Saint Petersburg State University to open its branch in Tashkent
A draft decree on organizing a branch of the Federal State Budget Institute of Higher Education “Saint-Petersburg State University” has been placed on the portal for discussing draft normative-legal acts.
The university is planned to be located at the Tashkent State Institute of Oriental Studies – 16a Oybek Street, Mirabad district, Tashkent. It will provide such services as training, advanced training and retraining of specialists in the established fields of study, including the training of scientific and pedagogical personnel.
Education will be conducted in Russian in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation on the basis of curricula and programs approved by the Saint Petersburg State University.
The university, in coordination with the Ministry of Higher and Specialized Secondary Education, will set the requirements, procedures and deadlines for admission and certification of branch university graduates.
