Preliminary prices for Oshan brand cars to be produced in Navoi announced

According to the publication NavoiToday, cars will cost from $13 to $30 thousand.

“It is expected that prices will be from $13 to $30 thousand. These are preliminary prices,” said Jamshid Jumayev.

It is expected that this project, totaling $12 million, will radically change the entire automotive industry in Uzbekistan. In Navoi, it is planned to assemble cars manufactured in China under the Oshan brand, and their subsequent sale in the domestic market.

According to preliminary information, the sale of new cars will begin at the end of this year.

This plant is being built on the territory of the Navoi Free Economic Zone with an area of 564 hectares, where about 30 enterprises with the participation of foreign investors operate.
