Tour operators granted privileges for importing cars

They should pay only 50% of the customs duty on imported cars within three years.

Tour operators registered in Bukhara, Navoi and Surkhandarya regions are granted incentives to import cars from abroad, follows from the presidential decree.

“As an exception, tour operators registered in Bukhara, Navoi and Surkhandarya regions are allowed to pay customs duty in the amount of 50 percent of the actual rates for importing vehicles within 3 years,” the document says.

These vehicles will be assigned a separate series of state number plates and their use is allowed only in the territory of these regions.
