Coronavirus: Death toll reaches 38 in Uzbekistan
Another patient with coronavirus died in Uzbekistan, the total number of death cases during the pandemic in the country reached 38, the press service of the Health Ministry reported.
According to the ministry, a 61-year-old patient from the Urgut district, Samarkand region, died.
On June 27, he was placed in a regional infectious diseases hospital. He was diagnosed with bilateral pneumonia, with complications of the 3rd degree of acute respiratory failure.
The patient previously suffered from chronic renal failure, hypertension, coronary heart disease, and acute myocardial infarction.
Despite resuscitation procedures, the patient died of acute respiratory and heart failure.
