Coronavirus death toll reaches 39 in Uzbekistan

According to the Ministry of Health, a 79-year-old resident of the capital’s Yunusabad district did not seek medical help, despite having the symptoms of the coronavirus infection on June 19.

On July 2, the man turned to the family clinic. The citizen was tested for the coronavirus infection. He was diagnosed with COVID-19, coronary heart disease, angina pectoris, hypertension and parkinsonism.

“Despite resuscitation procedures, the patient died of acute cardiovascular and pulmonary failure,” the report said.

Currently, the total number of coronavirus victims in the country has reached 39.
