Navoi reports first coronavirus death in the region

In the Navoi region, one person died from coronavirus. This was announced by the khokim of the region Kobil Tursunov in his address to the people of the region.

Speaking about the epidemiological situation in the region, Tursunov called on citizens to follow the quarantine rules.

“The saddest thing is that yesterday, despite the treatment and prevention measures carried out in our region, the first death case was recorded,” he said.

No information was provided on the age and sex of the patient, or the exact date of the death.
