Over 3,700 citizens of Uzbekistan cross the Kazakh-Uzbek border
As a result of the joint work of the Special Republican Commission, the border security forces of the State Security Service and the diplomatic missions of Uzbekistan in Kazakhstan, on July 8, all technical and organizational issues that impede the free crossing of fellow citizens of the Kazakh-Uzbek border were promptly resolved.
According to the MFA operational staff, On July 8 and 9, 3,746 fellow citizens crossed the “Jibek Joly” – “Gisht-Kuprik” checkpoints.
At present, there are no problems with crossing the interstate border, checkpoints are operating in a normal mode. There are no crowds at the checkpoints.
Upon returning to their homeland, all citizens must undergo 14-day quarantine with strict observance of the relevant requirements determined by the Special Republican Commission.
