Procedure for distributing free medicines for patients being treated at home clarified
Special mobile groups have been set up in each family clinic. These teams will diagnose the patient’s medical condition and provide him/her with a free set of medications.
At the next session of the International Press Club, the head of the State Inspectorate for Sanitary and Epidemiological Surveillance Nurmat Otabekov informed about the procedure for providing free medicines to coronavirus patients being treated at home. He noted that about 50,000 kits of medications have been prepared for coronavirus patients currently being treated at home. This set of drugs can be distributed by all clinics.
“For this purpose, special mobile groups have been set up in each family clinic. These teams will diagnose the patient’s medical condition and provide him/her with a free set of medications.
Sooner or later, these kits will be delivered to all regions,” the Chief State Sanitary Inspector said.
Earlier, Feruza Hamroboyeva, a member of the Anti-Coronavirus Staff, provided detailed information on the “set of medicines used in the treatment of patients infected with COVID-19”.
