Reportedly, officials of the Syrdarya regional branch of “Qishloq Qurilish Invest” have misappropriated 2.5 billion soums of budgetary funds, the Public Relations and Legal Information Department of the Prosecutor General’s Office told Kun.uz.
“During the pre-investigation check conducted by the Akaltin district branch of the Department under the Prosecutor General’s Office, it was identified that officials of the Syrdarya regional branch of “Qishloq Qurilish Invest” LLC and “S.S.” LLC embezzled, in a conspiracy, budgetary funds in the amount of 949 million soums. They prepared documents on the construction of a multi-storey house in the “Kurkam Diyor” block of the Akaltin district. In fact, no such construction work has been done at the site.
Similarly, it was revealed that “Y.N” LLC officials misappropriated budgetary funds worth 586 million soums by preparing documents on the construction of a multi-storey house in the area. However, the LLC has not completed the construction and repair work.
Also, during the pre-investigation check conducted by the Yangiyer city branch of the Department under the Prosecutor General’s Office, it was identified that officials of the Syrdarya regional branch of “Qishloq Qurilish Invest” LLC and “S.S.” LLC misappropriated, in a conspiracy, budgetary funds in the amount of 947 million soums. They prepared fake documents on the construction of 1 multi-storey house in the “Khovos markazi” block of the Khovos district,” the report reads.
On the abovementioned facts, a criminal case has been initiated against the officials of the Syrdarya regional branch of “Qishloq Qurilish Invest” LLC and the head of the company under Part 3, Article 167 (Paragraph “a”) of the Criminal Code.
