Coronavirus cases surpass 39 thousand in Uzbekistan

“As of 10:00 a.m., August 24, the number of infection cases in Uzbekistan stands at 39,065 (+119),” the statement said.

It is noted that 99 new cases were detected in the city of Tashkent, 10 in the Tashkent region, 5 in Kashkadarya, 2 in Navoi, 2 in Karakalpakstan.

So far, 34 987 (89%) people have recovered from the disease, 275 died. Currently, 3,803 people are undergoing treatment at medical facilities.
