Coronavirus cases exceed 48 thousand in Uzbekistan

“As of 10:00 a.m., September 15, the number of coronavirus infection cases in the country stands at 48,192 (+197),” the statement said.

It is noted that 117 new cases were detected in the city of Tashkent, 20 – in the Tashkent region, 30 – in Namangan, 12 – in Samarkand, 10 – in Khorezm, 5 – in Kashkadarya, 2 - in Fergana and 1 – in Karakalpakstan.

So far, 44,526 people (92%) have recovered from the disease, 400 died. Currently, the number of active cases of infection is 3,266.
