Coronavirus cases surpass 52 thousand in Uzbekistan

“As of 17:00, September 21, the number of coronavirus infection cases in Uzbekistan stands at 52,070 (+281),” the statement reads.

It is noted that 235 new cases were recorded in Tashkent, 10 – in the Tashkent region, 24 – in Namangan, 12 – in Jizzakh.

So far, 48,369 people (92%) have recovered from the disease, 437 died. Currently, 3,264 people are undergoing treatment at medical facilities.
