Illegal Bitcoin trader detained in Tashkent
Law enforcement officers detained an illegal Bitcoin trader in Tashkent.
According to the press service of the Prosecutor General’s Office, a man was trying to illegally sell 20 Bitcoins to a client in Tashkent, although he did not have a special license.
He wanted to sell each Bitcoin for $10,463 and was arrested when receiving $224,000 from his client, including a 7% commission fee.
A total of $402,071 was seized from him as material evidence.
The perpetrator was charged with unlawful sale of currency values and engaging in activities without a license.
