Shavkat Mirziyoyev approves Bozorov and Abdurazzakov as khokims of Fergana and Namangan regions
The President of Uzbekistan had signed a decree on appointing khokims for two regions.
According to the document, Khayrulla Bozorov, who has been serving as the khokim of the Namangan region since 2015, has become the acting khokim of the Fergana region.
In turn, Shavkat Abdurazzakov, a former Chairman of the State Committee for Ecology and Environmental Protection, replaces him as the acting khokim of the Namangan region.
It was previously reported that Shavkat Abdurazzakov, upon taking the post of khokim, canceled the implementation of the Namangan City project.
