Coronavirus cases surpass 56 thousand in Uzbekistan

“As of 10:00 a.m., September 29, the number of coronavirus infection cases in Uzbekistan stands at 56,068 (+190),” the statement of the Health Ministry reads.

It is noted that 120 new cases were registered in Tashkent, 30 – in Namangan, 12 – in Andijan, 10 – in Karakalpakstan, 8 – in Kashkadarya, 6 – in Fergana and 4 – in Surkhandarya.

So far, 52,466 people (94%) have recovered from the disease. Currently, 3,139 people are undergoing treatment in medical facilities, the official statement says.
