Non-governmental higher education institutions to be established in each region by September 2021

According to the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education, in order to create a healthy competitive environment in higher education, increase the level of teaching, at least one university on the basis of non-governmental, public-private partnership will be established in each region by September 1, 2021.

According to the decree, universities that have ranked in the top 3 in the national rankings for 3 consecutive years will be given academic and financial independence in the training of higher education personnel.

Also, the university, which is included in the TOP-10 list, will be authorized to independently award academic titles to its specialties.
