Media: Uzbekistan may start producing Bentley electric cars

Uzavtosanoat JSC is in talks with the British company Bentley to produce new electric cars from 2021. Tez News reported citing a source familiar with the negotiations.

Initially, it is planned to launch the production and sale of two models of hybrid cars for the Uzbek market. By 2025, six different hybrid electric cars can be produced under this brand.

For information, on October 8 in Russia, Bentley held a presentation of the updated Bentayga model and announced plans to launch the production of electric cars to the general public.

So far, it has not been possible to confirm this information from other sources, and Uzavtosanoat has not officially commented on the report. The report also did not specify whether such cars were intended for the domestic market or for export.
