CEC Deputy Chairman becomes prosecutor of Bukhara region

In July 2019, Makhmud Istamov was elected Deputy Chairman of the CEC.

Prior to that, he served as First Deputy Minister of Justice.

Makhmud Istamov was born in 1979. He graduated from Tashkent State Law Institute in 2000.

In 2006-2017, he worked in various positions in the services of the presidential administration. From August 2017 until his promotion in January, he worked as Deputy Minister of Justice.
