New khokim appointed for Vobkent district
Today, January 22, an extraordinary session of the regional council of people’s deputies was held in Bukhara.
It was announced at the session that Farkhod Umarov has been appointed khokim of the Vobkent district.
In late August 2020, Farkhod Umarov was appointed acting khokim of the Bukhara region, then he was transferred to the post of first deputy khokim of the Bukhara region. Prior to that, he served as deputy khokim on financial and economic issues and poverty reduction.
Before Umarov’s appointment, Bakhodir Bafoyev had been serving as khokim of the Vobkent district.
