Uzbekistan improves its position in mobile Internet speed ranking
From January 2019 to January 2021, fixed broadband Internet speed in Uzbekistan more than tripled – from 10.89 Mbit/s to 34.26 Mbit/s.

Speedtest.net, administered by the Irish company Ookla, has published a monthly rating of the Speedtest Global Index for January 2021.
According to the Speedtest.net service, Uzbekistan ranks 94th in the overall rating for the speed of fixed broadband Internet. In January, the country managed to move up by two lines. According to the indicator, the download speed in the republic was 34.62 Mbit/s.
Mobile Internet speed, in the meantime, reached 12.94 Mbps. Uzbekistan on this index also improved its indicators and rose by two positions, taking 128th place.
From January 2019 to January 2021, fixed broadband Internet speed in Uzbekistan has more than tripled – from 10.89 Mbit/s to 34.26 Mbit/s, the MITC noted.
