Fraudster who promised help with employment in SSS for $5,000 arrested 

 On March 3, a resident of Tashkent region Kh.N. appealed to the regional DIA.

According to the complainant, the man, who introduced himself as the “head of the SSS HR department in Tashkent”, demanded $5,000 to help with employment in the SSS military units. He asked to take legal action against the fraudster. 

In accordance with the appeal, an operational event was held in Chirchik in cooperation with officers of the Tashkent region DIA and SSS staff.

During the event, the person who introduced himself as the “head of the SSS HR department in Tashkent” and dressed in the uniform of the SSS senior lieutenant, was caught red-handed while receiving the agreed $5,000 from the man. 

During the interview, the man was identified as E.M., born in 1998, living in Surkhandarya region. He was unemployed and had previously served in a military unit under the SSS.

Criminal proceedings have been instituted against the detainee under the relevant articles of the Criminal Code.
