Coronavirus cases surpass 81 thousand in Uzbekistan

On March 18, 124 more people tested positive for coronavirus in Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Health reported.

The total number of registered cases reached 81,095.

Reportedly, 99 cases were recorded in the city of Tashkent, 2 – in Karakalpakstan, 1 – in Andijan, 5 – in Bukhara, 1 – in Surkhandarya, 1 – in Syrdarya, 2 – in Khorezm and 13 – in Tashkent region.

According to the ministry, on March 18, 78 people recovered from coronavirus in Tashkent, 7 – in Andijan, 1 – in Surkhandarya, 5 – in Khorezm and 7 – in Tashkent region.

So far, 79,631 people in total have recovered from the disease.
