Coronavirus cases increasing in Tashkent

On March 22, 113 people tested positive for coronavirus in Uzbekistan, bringing the total number of cases to 81,559.

According to the Ministry of Health, 96 cases were registered in Tashkent, 1 – in Bukhara, 2 – in Kashkadarya, 2 – in Samarkand, 4 – in Fergana, 1 – in Khorezm and 7 – in Tashkent region.

Also, 57 people recovered from the disease yesterday in the capital and 8 – in Tashkent region. The total number of people recovered from coronavirus in the country reached 79,949 (98 percent of cases).

The number of active cases of infection is 988. Currently, 141 patients are in serious, and 23 – in critical condition.
