Uzbekistan starts strengthening quarantine control in public places
Uzbekistan is stepping up control over the wearing of medical masks and the use of antiseptics in public places.
According to the press service of the Health Ministry, from March 24, control over compliance with sanitary and epidemiological requirements, including the use of antiseptics and the wearing of medical masks in public places, has been strengthened in Uzbekistan.
Quarantine controls will also be strengthened in supermarkets, hypermarkets and shopping malls.
In addition, mobile teams will be re-established in some primary healthcare facilities starting from March 25. They organize health monitoring and home treatment for patients whose disease is asymptomatic or mild.
Citizens who violate the relevant rules will be held accountable in accordance with the established procedure.
