Coronavirus cases increasing in Uzbekistan

On March 28, 196 people tested positive for coronavirus in Uzbekistan, bringing the total number of cases to 82,536.

The Ministry of Health says 164 cases were registered in Tashkent, 3 – in Karakalpakstan, 1 – in Andijan, 5 – in Bukhara, 1 – in Jizzakh, 3 – in Kashkadarya, 2 – in Namangan, 1 – in Samarkand, 2 – in Syrdarya and 14 – in Tashkent region.

So far, 80,667 people have recovered from the disease in Uzbekistan. Currently, 1,243 people are undergoing treatment in hospitals, 191 of them are in serious and 85 – in critical condition.
